Look for a Vanishing Point

A fantastic way to convey depth in your scene is to show a "1-point perspective" where parallel lines appear to meet and vanish at the horizon. When you see train tracks, roads, vineyards, aisles, or hallways, compose to include the vanishing point in your photo.

Examples

The road vanishes to a single point.
The trains, ceiling, and floor vanish to a single point near the light above the center.
The lamps, walls, and seats meet at the vanishing point near the altar.
It’s evident that the boardwalk and handrails will vanish at a point beyond the door.
