Light up the Hair

A little bit of hair light can add depth and visual interest to your image. Position your subject, so the sun is behind them and adjust their positioning until the hair glows. The best time for this is 30-60 mins before sunset when the light is soft but strong enough to light up the hair.

Examples

Observe the glow outlining the left edge of her hair.
The guy’s hair was nice and fluffy asking to be lit up :)
